Labour Day observed at Shishu Niketan Public School, Sector 66, Mohali
Labour Day was observed at the school. A special assembly was organised to express gratitude to class IV employees working in the school. Jasnoor and Aadhya of Class X presented a speech about Labour Day. Students of classes VI to VIII expressed their love and gratitude towards labour brothers and sisters through a group song. Expounding respect for the cooperation of the helping staff, a nukkad natak was presented by students of the school, in which they highlighted the importance of respecting the efforts of the labourers. All class IV employees were presented with gifts and handmade flowers by students. The kindergarten wing also acknowledged the efforts of class IV employees. The helpers of kindergarten wing were presented with beautiful hand-made cards as a mark of respect. The event was designed to forge a better understanding of the labour community among the students who must learn to respect and appreciate their efforts.
