Major Ajaib Singh Convent School, Jeonwala (Faridkot) holds cleanliness drive

The school celebrated Swachh Bharat Abhiyan, guided by Principal Dr SS Brar and 5 Punjab Girls Battalion NCC Moga. Under the supervision of ANO Amritpal Kaur Khosa and CTO Veerpal Kaur, NCC cadets participated in cleanliness and awareness activities. The event began with cleanliness slogans and motivational speeches, followed by poster and banner-making, conveying strong social messages on cleanliness, waste management and environmental protection. The cadets cleaned classrooms, corridors and surrounding areas, setting an example for others. The students also learned to make compost pits at home using biodegradable waste, promoting eco-friendly practices. The celebration successfully spread awareness about cleanliness, sustainability and community participation. The Principal appreciated the cadets' active involvement and encouraged them to continue such initiatives. The event concluded with a pledge to keep surroundings clean and support the vision of a Swachh Bharat.
