Dyal Singh Public School, Main Branch, Karnal, held a felicitation ceremony to honour its meritorious students for their outstanding performance in the CBSE Board Examinations for the academic session 2024–25. The ceremony commenced with the welcome song. Principal Sushma Devgun appreciated the hard work and perseverance of the students, teachers, and parents that led to these commendable results. In Class XII, the students who stood first in their respective streams are: Ayush Gupta (Non-Medical stream) – 96.2%; Raghav Goel (Commerce stream) – 95.8%; Avishi Gupta (Medical Stream) – 95.6%; Akash Kumar (Humanities Stream) – 95.2%. In Class X, Kayna made the school proud by securing 97.6%, standing third in the district and first in the school. Subject-wise toppers were also honoured for bringing glory to the school.

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.

The Tribune, the largest selling English daily in North India, publishes news and views without any bias or prejudice of any kind. Restraint and moderation, rather than agitational language and partisanship, are the hallmarks of the newspaper. It is an independent newspaper in the real sense of the term.

The Tribune has two sister publications, Punjabi Tribune (in Punjabi) and Dainik Tribune (in Hindi).
