According to the guidelines of the Indian Kurash Association, the Sub-Junior State Kurash Championship 2024 was held at the school in which about 150 players from different districts took part. Ghanaur and EO School Sports Coordinator Daljit Singh, zonal secretary, Ghanaur, Jaswinder Singh Chapar, accompanied by Gurpreet Singh, physical education teacher, blessed the children. Mile Stone Smart Public School Principal Arushi Bhandari and general secretary of the Kurash Association of Punjab Surjit Singh Walia welcomed Gurlal Singh, MLA, Ghanaur. Surjit Singh said the players who will come first and second in the state championship will go to Saranpur, Uttar Pradesh, to play in the national-level competition. This game will also be played in the Punjab School Games and this game gradation has also been recognised by the Punjab Government.
