A vibrant display of talent and creativity marked the inter-class English poetry recitation competition held at the school for Classes I to VIII. The event was filled with expressive voices, confident performances and heartfelt verses that echoed through the school auditorium. Students from all classes took to the stage with enthusiasm, reciting poems on a variety of engaging topics. The themes included ‘My Pet’, ‘Animal Friends’, ‘Trees’, ‘My Dream’, ‘Save Earth’ and ‘Festivals and Celebrations’. Each participant brought their own charm and unique interpretation, captivating the audience and judges alike.The competition provided a wonderful platform for young learners to develop their language skills and stage confidence. It was a celebration of imagination, expression and the joy of poetry.

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.

The Tribune, the largest selling English daily in North India, publishes news and views without any bias or prejudice of any kind. Restraint and moderation, rather than agitational language and partisanship, are the hallmarks of the newspaper. It is an independent newspaper in the real sense of the term.

The Tribune has two sister publications, Punjabi Tribune (in Punjabi) and Dainik Tribune (in Hindi).
