Rain was enjoyed by the students at Ashmah International School, Sector 70, Mohali, which gave relief to them from hot and sultry weather. The main motive of organising the monsoon party was to tell students about the importance of monsoon. Students dressed in colourful dresses enjoyed the party while holding umbrellas. They enjoyed various games like ‘freeze dance’. Other games played by them were pass the balloon, charades, celebrity head, hockey pokey and pass the parcel. Kids also enjoyed freestyle dancing and enjoyed snacks brought in their lunch boxes. Children beamed with joy and had great fun while enjoying water activities to beat the heat. Principal Suchi Grover said, “Rain is an important part of the water cycle. If there is no rain, we may not be here.” Different kinds of sweets were also distributed among the kids. Children looked very excited while enjoying rain and relishing different kind of sweets.
