Students of the school participated in the State Award Camp organised by the Haryana State Scouts and Guides held at Shimla. The enthusiasm and dedication of the students who participated in the camp played an important role in enhancing their unique experience and leadership skills. A total of 70 children from Jind district participated in the camp. Motilal Nehru Public School students Ashima, Deepika, Sonakshi, Anshika and Kritika as well as school teacher Pooja Pasrija also participated in the Scout and Guide Camp. All students and school teachers who participated in the camp were honoured with certificates.

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.

The Tribune has two sister publications, Punjabi Tribune (in Punjabi) and Dainik Tribune (in Hindi).
