Baisakhi was celebrated at the Sapling Branch of the Primary Department of the school. The celebration not only symbolised cultural awareness but also served as a powerful medium to instil a deep understanding of Indian traditions and festivals among young children. Tiny tots from Nursery to Class I participated in the grand event, bringing the programme to life. The children, dressed in colourful traditional attire, gave vibrant performances on stage. Bhangra, gidda, and other traditional dances set to Punjabi folk songs mesmerised everyone. The students also presented a short play on the theme, “What is Baisakhi?”, which depicted farming, crop harvesting, and the lifestyle of farmers. The performance not only entertained the audience but also educated them about the historical and cultural significance of the festival.
