Teacher’s Day was celebrated at the school.A special assembly was organised, in which all students participated. The programme began with offering flowers to the portrait of Goddess Saraswati and lighting of the ceremonial lamp. Students gave various cultural performances to express their respect towards their beloved teachers. The most special attraction was the role play programme, in which students enacted the roles of their teachers. They conducted classes in subjects like mathematics, science, Hindi, English, and social science, showcasing how teachers instil discipline, knowledge, and values in the lives of children. Chairman of the Management Committee Sandeep Dahiya, and Principal Ravindra Kumar said, “A teacher is the beacon of society. Just as a lamp burns itself to give light to others, similarly a teacher illuminates the lives of students with knowledge and values. Teacher’s Day reminds us to respect our mentors, imbibe their guidance in our lives, and contribute to the progress of the nation. The principal especially appreciated the role play presented by students, saying that it not only helps to understand the contribution of teachers but also instils a sense of responsibility and discipline in children. In today’s time, a teacher is not only someone who imparts knowledge of subjects, but also someone who builds character, nurtures morality, discipline, and human values. Students honoured their teachers by offering gifts and greetings. The entire atmosphere was filled with the essence of the Guru-Shishya (teacher-student) tradition and a deep sense of gratitude.
