Mukand Public School, Model Town, Yamunanagar, organises tribute ceremony on birth anniversary of Sethani Shyama

To commemorate the birth anniversary of Sethani Shyama, a beacon of selfless service and kindness, the school organised a heartfelt tribute ceremony filled with love and learning. The day began with lamp lighting held at the school. Later, the students of Class V, accompanied by their class in-charges, visited Ni Aasre da Aasra, a shelter home for orphans located in Mustafabad. The visit was further enriched by Ritu Behl, school’s sports and yoga teacher, who conducted a wellness session that included yoga asanas, clapping therapy, meditation, acupressure techniques, brainstorming activities, and laughter therapy tips — simple practices aimed at enhancing mental and emotional well-being. Headmistress Monika Sharma addressed the students at the school, sharing words of encouragement and reminding them of the importance of empathy, mindfulness, and serving others with a smile.
