Narsingh Dass Public School, Taraori, hosted a two-day annual sports day. The students' enthusiasm and excitement were palpable. The programme began with the lighting of lamps and Saraswati Vandana. Following this, students from all four houses took part in a rally. School President Madhu Gupta served as the chief guest and Rajkumar, former captain of the Indian Commonwealth Games, was the special guest. Madhu Gupta signalled the start of the games by releasing balloons of various colours. On the first day, the primary school organised games, including a frog race, a 100m race, a 200m race and a ball race. On the second day, various games were also played for the children of senior and senior secondary sections in which games like 400m race, 800m race, sack race, lame leg, table jump, long jump and relay race etc. were organised. Students who secured first, second and third positions in various games were honoured with gold, silver and bronze medals. Newton House bagged the overall trophy. Chitransh of Class X and Megha of Class VIII were selected as the best players.
