National Unity Day was celebrated at National Unity Day celebrated at PM SHRI Kendriya Vidyalaya, Palampur, reflecting the spirit of national integration and togetherness among students and staff. The programme began with Principal Sunil Kumar leading all present in taking the Unity Day oath, reaffirming the commitment to national unity and solidarity. Ajay Kumar, PGT, Geography, delivered a special speech highlighting the significance of Unity Day and the legacy of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, whose birthday marks this national observance. A spirited “Unity Run” was organised from the school premises to DAH Chowk, where students enthusiastically raised slogans and spread the message of unity and oneness throughout the community. Junior students participated in a slogan-writing competition, creatively expressing their thoughts and commitment towards national integration. The involvement of all students fostered a sense of collective responsibility and motivation to uphold the values of diversity and unity. The event created awareness and encouraged positive social engagement, teaching students the lifelong value of unity in diversity. Such celebrations reinforce meaningful values and inspire students to work towards harmonious nation-building.
