Republic Day was celebrated in the school. A cultural programme was organised, in which students from classes III to VIII participated . The programme started with school Director and Principal Dr Devendra Arora unfurling the national flag. All staff members and students saluted the Tricolour. Class VI student Anjali gave a speech on Republic Day. Class VI student Mayan presented a dance on the song ‘Desh Pehle Hai’. Class VI students Deepanshi and Hemanya presented a captivating dance on the song ‘Desh Mera Rangeela’. Class V student Pakhi and Class VII student Anya presented a dance on the song ‘Sandese Aate Hain’. Class IV student Jasmeet presented a solo dance on the Punjabi song ‘Tiranga’. The students of Class VIII presented a silent play depicting the events of Indian history in chronological order. The girl students of Class VIII presented a short play based on the life of Rani Lakshmi Bai of Jhansi. Teacher Madhu Sharma told everyone in detail about the Republic Day. Senior teacher of the school Gulshan Taneja shared his views on Republic Day. School Director BD Gaba said Republic Day is a national festival of India.
