New building of Kendriya Vidyalaya, Saloh, inaugurated
The new building of the school was inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi through virtual medium. Rajya Sabha MP Sikandar Kumar was present in the school on the occasion. The PM inaugurated the new building from Jammu. A sum of Rs 17.83 crore has been spent on the new building, which has 45 rooms. The school is now ready to provide education to 1,000 students. The foundation stone of the school was laid in 2015. Present on the occasion were DC, Una, Jatinlal, SDM, Haroli, Rajiv Thakur, Chief Engineer of BSNL Sunil Kumar, Ram Kumar, Sumit Sharma, Pradhan, Saloh gram panchayat, Anita Jaswal, Pradhan, Pandoga gram panchayat, and Gurvinder Singh. They were welcomed by Bhupesh Bhatt, Assistant Commissioner of Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, Gurugram Division. Union Information and Broadcasting Minister Anurag Singh Thakur also congratulated the parents of the children. Himachali naati, Kendriya Vidyalaya geet and Saraswati vandana were presented by schoolchildren. In the end, while congratulating the children and parents, the chief guest said it is a great gift from Prime Minister Narendra Modi to Unna district. Principal Neelam Guleria thanked the guests.
