The school celebrated its Investiture Ceremony for the academic session 2025-26. The solemn occasion marked the formal appointment of the newly elected student council members, who pledged to uphold the values and responsibilities entrusted to them. The ceremony commenced with a warm welcome, followed by the lighting of the ceremonial lamp and the school prayer. The event was graced by distinguished guests and school dignitaries who inspired the students with words of wisdom and encouragement. The newly elected council members were honoured with badges and sashes as they marched with dignity and confidence. They took an oath to discharge their duties with honesty, dedication, and leadership. Principal Gurinder Sehgal addressed the gathering and congratulated the council members, urging them to lead by example and contribute positively to the school community.

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.

The Tribune, the largest selling English daily in North India, publishes news and views without any bias or prejudice of any kind. Restraint and moderation, rather than agitational language and partisanship, are the hallmarks of the newspaper. It is an independent newspaper in the real sense of the term.

The Tribune has two sister publications, Punjabi Tribune (in Punjabi) and Dainik Tribune (in Hindi).
