On the birth anniversary of Guru Nanak Dev, the school organised a special assembly. The celebration commenced with a prayer. The head of the school shared the information about the life and teaching of Guru Nanak Dev. ‘Ardas’ and ‘bhajan’ spread a religious fervour in the air. Students and staff offered their prayer to the Guru.

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.
