NSP National means-cum-merit scheme

NSP National Means-cum-Merit Scholarship Scheme 2021-22 is an initiative for students of Class IX who have secured at least 55% marks or equivalent grades in the Class VIII examination. The scholarship aims at providing financial assistance to meritorious students belonging to economically weaker sections to arrest their dropout at Class VIII and encourage them to continue studies at the secondary stage. 

Eligibility: The scholarship is open for Class IX students who have secured at least 55% of marks or equivalent grade in the Class VIII examination (relaxable by 5% for SC/ST students) or at least 55% of marks or equivalent grade in Class VII examination to appear for the selection test for the award of scholarship (relaxable by 5% for SC/ST). The annual family income of the candidates must not be less than Rs 1.50 lakh from all sources.
