MCM DAV Senior Secondary Public School, Baghni, Nurpur, celebrated 'Ramleela Manchan' and Dasehra with great zeal and devotion on the school premises. Kindergarten students delivered performances, enacting scenes from the 'Ramayana'. Characters including Lord Rama, Mata Sita, Maharaj Dashrath, Hanuman, Lakshman, Jatayu, Manthara, Kaikeyi, Ravana, Meghnath and Kumbhkaran were portrayed with enthusiasm. The event was enriched by traditional 'chaupais', adding spiritual depth to the occasion. The celebration culminated with the burning of effigies of Ravana, Meghnath and Kumbhkaran, symbolising the victory of truth and righteousness over evil. The principal praised the efforts of both students and teachers and inspired the audience with a message encouraging all to imbibe the virtues of Lord Rama - truth, humility, and moral strength.
