The school organised a visit of the Science Exhibition Bus to the school for students of Class XI and XII, an initiative of the Ministry of Science and Technology in collaboration with Chandigarh University. The students were made aware of the basic concepts of science, and innovations through live exhibits, apparatus and videos.

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.
