St. Mary's School, Mohali hosted a CBSE workshop on 'Learning Outcomes and Pedagogies,' led by Subeena Anand and Snehlata. The event, attended by teachers from Chandigarh and Mohali, focused on effective teaching strategies and interactive activities. Principal Bijumon Thomas emphasized continuous professional development for improved student education.
A school held an investiture ceremony for its newly elected Student Council. Students democratically elected their peers, including Piyush (School Captain), Srishti (School Captain Girl), Ayush and Shivani (Sports Captains), and Aarush and Riya (Co-Curricular Activity Captains). The Principal administered an oath and entrusted the council with the school flag.
A school basketball tournament featured classes IX-XII, boys and girls, in a knockout format. Principal Gaur initiated the event. Teams displayed skill and sportsmanship. Winners received trophies and certificates. The tournament successfully promoted teamwork, discipline, and sports appreciation.
Van Mahotsav was observed with Headmaster Singh and teachers planting saplings. Students were educated on the value of trees, and parents also joined the event.
The 'Drona Arjuna Award' ceremony honored 1,200 high-achieving students (75%+ in board exams) from Karnal schools. Medals, certificates, and mementos were awarded to students and principals. The event, held at Tallentian Officers' Academy, was attended by dignitaries including Karnal Mayor and Samrat Anand.
A two-day physics CBP workshop was held in the school auditorium, led by experienced resource persons Parul Sharma and Chetan Mohan. The workshop covered the new syllabus, competency-based questions, and featured engaging activities to benefit teachers.
Sri Guru Harkrishan School in Chandigarh held a tree plantation drive for Van Mahotsav, led by Principal Shama Kukkal. The NSS, Eco Club, and Interact/Early Act Clubs participated, planting 120 saplings to increase green cover and raise environmental awareness among students.
Students in grades IV and V became environmental journalists, creating newspapers. They used real clippings on nature topics, designing layouts and writing captions. This activity fostered creativity, environmental awareness, and media literacy.
NSS volunteers, officers, and staff, led by Principal Raj Bala, organized a poster-making activity. The event supported the 'Towards a tobacco-free generation' campaign by the Indian Department of School Education and Literacy.
St. Xavier's High School, Gurugram students launched Heal.Ed and Project Spark to support healthcare, education, and career development. Their fundraiser, Zariyaa, showcased talent from NGOs, providing recognition and funding for their initiatives.
Swiss schoolchildren organized a sponsored run on June 20, 2025, to support underprivileged children in India and Nigeria. The event, led by four girls, raised CHF 9,500, funding education and care for children in need. The initiative showcased the power of children's efforts and community generosity.
