Paragon Convent School celebrated Diwali with competitions and performances for students in grades 1-8. Events included diya decoration, dance, role-play, and rangoli making. Chairman Sahibjeet Singh Sandhu, Director and Principal Rajni Dutta attended. The Principal encouraged eco-friendly celebrations.
Revel Dale Public School celebrated Diwali with a focus on environmental responsibility. Students pledged to avoid firecrackers and promoted a clean, smoke-free Diwali. A skit highlighted the negative impact of pollution on animals, and earthen lamps were lit.
Baby Convent School, Banur celebrated Diwali, Bandi Chhod Diwas, and Bhai Dooj with performances and speeches. The events emphasized cultural heritage, family, love, and kindness. Principal Subeena Anand highlighted core values and encouraged students to embody them. The celebrations ended joyfully.
Ekamjot Singh from Alliance International School secured second place in a district-level poetry competition organized by Punjabi Bhasha Vibhag, Patiala, out of 93 teams. The school principal, mentors, and management congratulated him and the school received a cash prize.
St. Teresa Convent School, Panchkula celebrated Diwali with various activities. Students crafted edible diyas (III-V), made Diwali cards and lanterns (VI-VIII), and created rangoli art (IX-XII). The celebration embodied Diwali's theme of light conquering darkness.
DAV Public School organized an 'Anti-Cracker Rally' during Social Science Week to promote a green Diwali. Students raised awareness about the harmful effects of firecrackers, encouraging eco-friendly celebrations, and advocating for a cleaner environment by interacting with residents.
Goodwill International School's Eco Club celebrated an eco-friendly Diwali. Competitions were held across sections, including poetry and story presentations. The Eco Club president led a pledge. The chairman and director principal recognized winners and emphasized positive habits. The program was organized by Harpreet Singh and Akashpreet Singh.
Brilliance World School's 'Enviro Expo 2025' showcased student-created eco-friendly projects, from waste management to futuristic sustainability solutions. The event, judged by Kalia, featured diverse projects by different grade levels, interactive activities, and Diwali celebrations, all promoting environmental awareness and student talent.
Bhavan Vidyalaya NSS volunteers celebrated Diwali with underprivileged children from Evening Chetna School, conducting a Puja and distributing gifts and sweets. Principal Gulshan Kaur commended their community spirit, encouraged an eco-friendly Diwali, and emphasized continuous acts of kindness to spread joy and build a brighter future.
Mount Carmel School, Zirakpur students performed a street play against firecrackers, promoting environmental awareness. The play, staged at multiple locations, encouraged a pollution-free Diwali. The principal praised the students and teachers for fostering social responsibility and experiential learning, concluding with positive audience feedback.
Shemrock Senior Secondary School hosted a Diwali stall by the Paraplegic Rehabilitation Centre, selling handmade items crafted by injured Indian Army veterans. Students, parents, and staff enthusiastically purchased items, promoting service and social responsibility while supporting the veterans.
Prabhakar Senior Secondary School in Amritsar celebrated Diwali with competitions and festivities. Bhumi & Divya (senior) and Parminder & Diksha (junior) won the Mehndi competition. Blue House won the Rangoli competition. Students enjoyed dancing and spreading festive cheer.
Shemrock World, Ropar, celebrated Diwali with a prayer, classroom decorations, and inter-class competitions like card and diya making. Students showcased their creativity, with awards given for the best entries. A special assembly featured speeches, cultural performances, and Diwali greetings from the Academic Director.
