Delhi Public School, Chandigarh

Students of Class Nursery presented a class show- ‘Growing & Glowing’, a journey of the young ones virtually. The show witnessed 100 per cent participation, thus giving each child an opportunity to showcase their skill and talent. The show captivated one and all with the amazing performances. Principal Reema Dewan congratulated the students for their active participation. She thanked all parents for their support and advised them to value family time and cherish the moments spent with their children.

Various activities were held in the Government Model High School, Mauli Colony, today. As per the directions of the department of education the activities related to study with photo shoot of school children were to be held in the schools. Children from all streams took part in these activities. Teachers of special training centres (STC) from cluster-20, Chandigarh were part of these activities and photos were shot of study through teaching and learning materials (TLM).

 Mount Carmel School, Mohali

The school conducted the ‘virtual graduation ceremony’ of Class V to celebrate the next step for students as they are leaving the primary level and moving to a new world of secondary education. Students were delighted and excited to receive their graduation certificates. They were smartly dressed in their school uniform donning the graduation cap. The ceremony commenced with a graduation speech by Archit of Class V. This was followed by an inspiring poetry recitation by Vanya. A lovely graduation song was then presented by graduates of Class V. The ceremony culminated with the vote of thanks by Chesta Arora of Class V. Coordinator Vinita congratulated graduates for their progress towards a brighter future. Principal Ruth Thomas addressed graduates with her inspiring words of wisdom and emphasised on the values to carry forward in their life.

 Sacred Heart Sr Sec School, Chandigarh

Amidst uncompromising abidance to COVID 19 safety protocols, the 1 Chandigarh Girls Battalion conducted a ‘B Certificate Exam’. About 804 cadets wrote their exam under the diligent superintendence of Col BK Sharma, Commanding Officer, 1 Chandigarh Girls Bn NCC and Col UK Sharma, Commanding Officer, Commanding Officer, 1 Chandigarh Boys Bn NCC. Col RK Sharma expressed his gratitude to Principal Sr Arti for the smooth and fair conduct of the exam. Brig BS Dhillon, Group Commander, Chandigarh Group, paid an overseeing visit.
