To celebrate Children’s Day, the school held an enthusiastic mini sports meet for primary classes. The event saw spirited participation from students across various grades. The sports meet was inaugurated by officiating Principal Pankaj Kapoor along with primary teachers, who commenced the programme by lighting the ceremonial lamp and offering flowers to a portrait of India’s first Prime Minister Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru. The day began with students taking the sports oath and performing a disciplined march past, organised by their respective houses. Following this, engaging races such as the 20-m frog jump and 40-m dash were organised for classes I and II, while classes III to V participated in exciting competitions, including the 50-m race and shuttle race, among others. To keep the energy high, refreshments were provided to all participants. At the end of the meet, certificates and medals were awarded to the winners who achieved first, second, and third places in their respective events.
