PM Shri Kendriya Vidyalaya, 14 GTC, Subathu

The school celebrated Parakram Diwas to honour the legacy of Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose on his 128th birth anniversary. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from students of Tagore Vanasthali Public School, Florence Convent School, Pinegrove School, PM Shri KV, Air Force Station, Kasauli, APS, Dagshai, and PM Shri JNV, Kunihar. The celebration began with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp, followed by a vibrant welcome dance performed by host school students. A series of engaging activities were organised to pay tributes to Netaji, including the screening of five selected episodes of “Main Hoon Bharat”, which inspired students to embrace patriotism and leadership values. The highlight of the day was the District-Level Inter-School Written Quiz Competition, based on the episodes of “Main Hoon Bharat”. Principal of the school Asha Chaudhari welcomed the participants and applauded their talent and enthusiasm. She emphasised the importance of following Netaji’s ideals to elevate India’s stature on the global stage. The programme concluded with the announcement of quiz results. Kananklata Rana and Devanshi Gupta from Tagore Vanasthali Public School secured the first position, while Divesh from Army Public School, Dagshai, bagged the second position. Certificates were distributed to the winners, and the event wrapped up on a high note with a collective commitment to uphold the values and legacy of Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose. The success of the event was attributed to the significant contributions of Sunil Kumar Bhatiwal (PGT, Geography), Sushma (PGT, English), and Dr Pankaj Kapoor (PGT, Hindi), who played pivotal roles in organising the programme seamlessly.
