PM SHRI Kendriya Vidyalaya, Sector 31D, Chandigarh, celebrated Children’s day with great pomp and show by organising ‘Grandparents Day’ for the students of primary wing. Sqn Lrd Mega Sharma, Senior Education Office, 3 BRD, was the chief guest on the occasion. The tiny tots of primary wing presented and showcased different cultural performances like Ganesh vandana, welcome song, skit, dance on vibrant Bharat, along with a special presentation by CWSN students. A special game was organised for the guest grandparents. In the afternoon, a Bal Mela was hosted by the students, which was inaugurated by Virender Singh, KV Principal, Sector 47, Chandigarh. Multiple stalls on food, games and entertainment were put up by the students. The purpose of the school fest was to give students first-hand experience in handling business and honing the skill of entrepreneurship. The programme culminated with a vote of thanks by Vice-Principal SK Yadav.
