The students of classes VI and VII of the school undertook an enriching educational excursion as part of the Green India and Community Participation initiatives under PM Shri activities. The students visited the NGO Waste Warriors at Chilgari, Dharamshala, followed by a visit to an old age home. The team at Waste Warriors warmly welcomed the students and briefed them about their work in waste segregation, recycling, and the importance of maintaining cleanliness in public spaces. The students participated in a hands-on activity, where they learnt how to segregate waste into biodegradable, non-biodegradable, and recyclable categories. In the second half of the day, the students visited a nearby old age home. Students interacted with inmates, listened to their stories, and shared cheerful moments with them.
