PM Shri Kendriya Vidyalaya, K-Area, Zirakpur holds 'Pakhwada Samapan Samaroh'

The Hindi Pakhwada Samapan Samaroh was organised at the school. The programme began with the lighting of the lamp by chief guest Priya Garg (Deputy Branch Manager, Union Bank Zirakpur). Principal Pushpa Sharma welcomed the chief guest with a traditional Green Welcome ceremony. The programme was conducted by Rajendra Kumar, PGT, Hindi. Students showcased their art and talent through captivating performances. The students presented mesmerising poetry recitations and attractive group dances that enthralled everyone. During the Hindi Pakhwada, various competitions were held, including handwriting competition, essay writing competition, poetry recitation competition, speech competition, and Hindi slogan writing competition. The chief guest distributed prizes to the winning students during the ceremony. In her address, Priya Garg emphasised the importance of Hindi language and said, “Hindi is not only our mother tongue but also our culture and identity.” The Hindi Pakhwada Samapan Samaroh strengthened the sense of respect and pride for the Hindi language among students and teachers. The occasion reminded everyone of the rich tradition and national significance of Hindi. The event was a grand success, and the school’s efforts to promote Hindi language and culture were appreciated by all.
