PM Shri Kendriya Vidyalaya No 2, Jalandhar Cantonment
As part of the PM Shri Scheme, 223 students of the school, accompanied by 12 escort teachers, embarked on an enriching educational trip to Pushpa Gujral Science City, Kapurthala. The visit, conducted under the leadership of Principal Ravinder Kumar and Vice-Principal Ugra Mohan Yadav, aimed to foster scientific curiosity and experiential learning among students. The students explored a range of interactive exhibits and enjoyed captivating attractions, including a Laser Show, 3D Show, Virtual Expedition, Simulator experience, and the fascinating Dino Park. The hands-on exposure to cutting-edge scientific advancements made learning an engaging and memorable experience. The trip was aligned with the PM Shri Scheme’s vision of holistic education through experiential learning. By engaging with advanced scientific models and simulations, students gained valuable insights into space, robotics, evolution and physics in an interactive manner. Expressing their excitement, students appreciated the immersive experience, which broadened their understanding of scientific concepts beyond textbooks. The school administration extended gratitude to the PM Shri Scheme for its unwavering support in promoting STEM education and fostering a passion for science through such innovative initiatives.
