An expert talk on the Adolescent Education Programme was organised at the school under the leadership of Principal Ravinder Kumar and Vice-Principal Ugra Mohan Yadav. The session was specially designed for adolescent girls, focusing on their unique challenges and providing effective solutions for their well-being. The resource person for the session was Dr Anjana Bhatia, Associate Professor and Head of the PG Department of Botany at Hans Raj Mahila Maha Vidyalaya, Jalandhar. She addressed key concerns such as menstrual health, nutrition, self-confidence, emotional well-being and dealing with peer pressure. Dr Bhatia provided practical solutions to help young girls navigate adolescence with awareness and resilience. The interactive session encouraged students to share their concerns openly, fostering a supportive environment. The initiative, conducted under the PM Shri Scheme, reflects the school’s commitment to empowering young girls through education and life skills, ensuring their holistic development and confidence in facing life’s challenges.
