PM SHRI Kendriya Vidyalaya No. 2, Jalandhar Cantt, organised a series of interactive cyber safety workshops under the PM SHRI Scheme to promote safe digital practices, responsible online behaviour and protection from cyber threats. Two workshops were conducted by Dr Sophiya Sheikh, Associate Professor, School of Computer Applications, Lovely Professional University, Jalandhar. Her first session on "Securing Your Devices and Networks" equipped students with practical tips on safeguarding their devices, creating strong passwords and maintaining secure networks. In her second session on "Cyberbullying and Online Etiquette," she guided students on responsible online communication, understanding the impact of cyberbullying and appropriate ways to report and deal with such incidents. Hands-on activities in both sessions made learning engaging and meaningful. The third workshop, "Cyber Security: Phishing and Scams," was conducted by Dr Gagandeep Singh Jaura, Assistant Professor, Department of Computer Science, CT College, Maqsuda Campus. He made students aware of online scams, phishing techniques and preventive measures to protect personal information. The programme was organised under the guidance of Principal Ravinder Kumar.
