The school observed the 11th International Yoga Day, joining millions across the globe in promoting the ancient practice of yoga for holistic well-being. The school premises buzzed with energy as students, teachers, and staff gathered to perform various asanas, reaffirming their commitment to a healthy lifestyle. The celebrations commenced with a warm floral welcome of the guest expert Sandhya Jain, a member of Indian Yoga Association, Chandigarh, by Vice-Principal SK Yadav. The occasion started with morning prayer by the students of the vidyalaya. Under the guidance of the guest expert, participants demonstrated a series of common yoga protocols, various standing and sitting asanas, pranayama (breathing exercises), and meditation. The synchronised movements and serene atmosphere created a truly uplifting experience for all present. Young students showcased remarkable flexibility and discipline, performing intricate poses with ease, while teachers and staff also actively participated, setting a commendable example for the younger generation. The event concluded with a collective pledge to continue practicing yoga for a healthier, happier life.
