PML SD Public School, Chandigarh, organised a movie outing for students of classes VI to X to watch “Sitaare Zameen Par”, a film that celebrates neuro-diversity and the potential of individuals with intellectual disabilities. The outing aimed to promote inclusive education, emotional intelligence and value-based learning. The film tells the story of a basketball coach who mentors a team of young players with Down syndrome and other intellectual challenges, beautifully portraying themes of empathy, perseverance and the transformative power of belief. This educational experience was designed to nurture the school's efforts to provide learning experiences beyond the classroom.
