The Interact Club of the school and NSS organised a blood donation camp, titled “Jeevan Dhara”, on its campus, reinforcing the school’s deep commitment to social responsibility and community welfare. Blessed by chief guest KK Sharma, Chairman-cum manager of the school, the event witnessed enthusiastic participation from teachers, staff, parents, alumni, and members of the local community, who came forward to donate blood and contribute to saving lives. The camp ensured a safe, hygienic, and efficient donation process under the supervision of certified medical professionals led by Dr Manish, Director, RBBSRC, Sector 37. Dr Nemi Chand Golia, State Officer (NSS), Liaison, Chandigarh Administration, who was the guest of honour, addressed the students stating that “through this camp, we shall aim to instil a sense of empathy and civic duty in our future generations. Every drop counts, and today, our community has come together to make a real difference.” Student volunteers played a pivotal role in managing the event, helping raise awareness about the importance of blood donation through posters, informative sessions, and interactive activities. The school extends heartfelt thanks to all donors and volunteers who contributed to the success of “Jeevan Dhara”. Their generous act will go a long way in saving lives and spreading the message of humanity.
