Basant Panchami holds importance for students as Saraswati is the goddess of knowledge. The school celebrated the day with its students. Yellow colour is considered auspicious during the time of Basant Panchami as it is the time of spring when mustard crops are harvested. In recognition of this, students offered yellow flowers to Goddess Saraswati. Yellow ‘prasadam’ was distributed among all those present on the occasion.
