To commemorate the iconic milestone of Chandrayan II (ISRO) successful landing on the South Pole of the Moon, the students of classes VII, VIII and IX of the school were given a magnificent view of India’s achievements in space. An astronomy workshop was conducted for the students of Class IX, which highlighted our scientific space achievements. Students were made aware of the advent of re-usable rockets and enticed about vacations in International Space Station (ISS); India is in the space race for Mars and the Moon; and ADITYA L1 being ready for Sun exploration as well. Students were encouraged to appear for the IOAA Olympiad and were briefed about the NSAT Papers (Stage 1 and 2) and some collaborations with Singapore University also. Students of Class VII observed Chandrayan missions conducted by ISRO, which studied the Moon’s South Pole for water availability. Principal Monica Sharma appreciated the same.
