On the occasion of Children’s Day, a colourful dance competition was organised at Police DAV Public School, Patiala. The event began with the lighting of the lamp by Principal Rajwant Singh and chief guest Vyom Bhardwaj, Secretary of PPSC. Students from pre-primary to Class XII presented dance performances on the themes of patriotism, folk dance and children's songs, captivating everyone with their talent. Gur Sehaj Kaur of Class VIII and Harsh Verma of Class VII also shared their thoughts with the students. English teacher Gurpreet Kaur recited her self-written poem. Class XI student Khushmeet Kaur sang a song and another student Aman recited her own poem, leaving everyone in awe. Some students also showcased their singing talent. The younger children, dressed in colourful outfits, received praise from the audience. Later, winners were awarded prizes and certificates.
