To celebrate Republic Day, the school organised a prize distribution ceremony. Many cultural items were performed by students from kindergarten and primary section of the school. All students who had various achievements in different sports categories in the events of DAV Nationals and Khedan Watan Punjab Diyan were felicitated with medals and trophies. School sports teachers were also felicitated for their great support and guidance towards the various achievements of students in different sports categories. Among those were Satish Kumar for his untiring efforts for creating school’s handball team and guiding towards its achievements at the national level, Jagtar Singh for achieving gold medal in the event of volleyball under 50-60 category in Khedan Watan Punjab Diyan and Jaspreet Kaur for achieving bronze medal for a kho-kho event in the 21 plus category in Khedan Watan Punjab Diyan. The school paid tribute to all freedom fighters and the nation makers to mark Republic Day celebrations. A speech was given by Prapti Pawar of Class VI and Gursehaj Kaur of Class VII. They elaborated that Republic state with the adoption of the Constitution on January 26, 1950. Officiating Principal Sukhjit Kaur congratulated all achievers and inspired the students to work hard for better tomorrow.
