Prabhakar Senior Secondary School, Amritsar, celebrated the festival of Diwali with great enthusiasm and excitement. The school campus was filled with the spirit of festivity, joy and creativity as students showcased their talents through various competitions. In the Mehndi competition, Bhumi from Class XII and Divya from Class X secured the first position in the senior category, while Parminder from Class VI and Diksha from Class VII stood first in the junior category. The participants created attractive and intricate designs that were highly appreciated. Consolation prizes were given to Jiya-Navjot, Vridhi-Harsimran, Shreya-Bhavya, Divya-Chhavi, and Shivani-Barleen for their commendable efforts. In the Rangoli competition, students made colourful and beautiful designs. Blue House, Karamjit Kaur, Neetika Arora, Gurbakhshish, Drishti, Amandeep Kaur, Pihu Sharma and Kartik Chawla, secured the first position, while Red House stood second with Simran, Jasleen, Manpreet Kaur, Jasleen Kaur, Toshika, Prabhjot Kaur and Lakshdeep Singh. After the competitions, students enjoyed dancing to songs, spreading happiness and festive energy all around.
