Pratap Public School, Jarnailly Colony, Karnal, celebrated the 101st birth anniversary of its revered founder, Dr RS Bhatia as Prerna Divas. The programme commenced with a soulful song of gratitude, setting a serene and heartfelt tone for the celebration. A special highlight of the event was the launch of the second edition of Dr Bhatia's autobiography, Delving Into My Past, unveiled by President Ajay Bhatia. The release inspired students and attendees to connect more deeply with Dr Bhatia's remarkable life journey. A photo exhibition showcasing significant moments from his extraordinary life added emotional depth and reflection to the occasion. The day concluded with sharing of excerpts from his autobiography, leaving everyone reminded of Dr Bhatia's enduring legacy.

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.

The Tribune, the largest selling English daily in North India, publishes news and views without any bias or prejudice of any kind. Restraint and moderation, rather than agitational language and partisanship, are the hallmarks of the newspaper. It is an independent newspaper in the real sense of the term.

The Tribune has two sister publications, Punjabi Tribune (in Punjabi) and Dainik Tribune (in Hindi).
