N Prithvi of St Mary’s School, Chandigarh, clinched gold medal in the ninth GTA Cup Open National Taekwondo Championship, held at Panjab University, Chandigarh, between October 7 and 9 for under-11 age category. School Chairman Rev Fr Aju Abraham and Principal Dr Martin Das Rao congratulated N Prithvi for his exceptional performance.

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.
