PSEB Class X toppers felicitated
Three Class X students, who secured a place in the state merit list of the PSEB results declared recently, were felicitated by the managing committee and authorities of Shaheed Baba Deep Singh Senior Secondary School, Kang in Tarn Taran. These students had bagged meritorious positions at the district level too. Managing Director Amandeep Singh Kang said school student Simarpreet Kaur secured 97.69 per cent marks and had stood first in the district. She also secured the ninth rank in the state merit list. Harmanpreet Kaur, who stood second in the district by scoring 97.23 per cent marks, had been placed at the 12th position in the state merit list. Harnoor Kaur, who stood third in the district by securing 96.92 per cent marks, was placed at the 14th rank in the state merit list. The meritorious students were honoured by founder of the school Harbhajan Singh and school authorities. A total of four students of the district secured a place in the state merit list. Three girl students are of Shaheed Baba Deep Singh Senior Secondary School, Kang, and the fourth is Sumanpreet Kaur of Government Senior Secondary School, Sabhra.
