Daksh Sharma, a Class VIII student of Public School, Jagadhri, emerged victorious in the District Level Table Tennis Tournament, winning the overall championship title. He secured first position in all four categories - 15, 17, 19 years and open category - defeating top players from across the district. Daksh's winning streak included a 3-0 win in the 15-year-old category final and similar victories in the 17 and 19-year-old categories. In the open category, he showcased his skill and patience to win a thrilling 3-2 match. His outstanding performance earned him a cash prize of Rs 3100 and a trophy and he'll represent Yamunanagar district in the state-level table tennis competition on December 15. Upon his return, Daksh was warmly welcomed by the school management, Principal Usha Sharma and the staff, who congratulated him on his achievement and wished him success at the state level.
