Pupils prove mettle in athletics

Students of Golden Bells Public School, Sector 77, Mohali, excelled in the 19th District Athletics Games, held at Sports Stadium, Sector 78, Mohali. Udayveer of Class XI secured a gold medal in the 200m race, while Vansh Soni claimed silver and Vaibhav Rana took bronze in the same event (Under 18). Additionally, Blesson Denny topped the high jump (Under 18) and secured second position in the 100m (Under 18), Kunal Manhas and Ayan Singh also achieved notable positions in long jump (Under 18). Chairman Colonel CS Bawa (retd) congratulated the students, praising their hard work and techniques guided by teacher Vikram Singh and encouraged all students to participate in sports to discover their abilities.
