Pupils win prizes in Mango festival
Initiated by Haryana Tourism 29th Mango Mela was organised at Pinjore Garden, where students of several schools from Panchkula district participated in different competitions. DAV Senior Public School, Surajpur, bagged a number of prizes in these. Students took part in different competitions, including dance, music, instrument playing, slogan writing, treasure hunt, debate, clay modelling, extempore and singing. Natasha bagged first position in the Extempore competition. Vidushi was first in Slogan-writing competition. Gunjan bagged first position in Treasure Hunt. Swarit was third in singing competition. The school Principal, Dr. Mamta Goel, lauded the staff and students and said such competitions played a vital role in honing the skills and increase the confidence level of students.
