The school celebrated Raksha Bandhan with a unique twist, blending tradition with sustainability. Students and teachers crafted handmade biodegradable rakhis from natural materials like jute, leaves, cotton and paper, which were tied to plants and trees instead of wrists. This symbolic gesture represented a pledge to protect and care for nature. The students took an Environmental Oath, promising to reduce waste, plant more trees and avoid plastic. Chairperson Laxmi Devi praised the students' creativity and environmental awareness, calling it a "revolution in thought." Principal Rajan Sharma added that the celebration aimed to teach students that the planet needs protection just like any loved one, making it a meaningful tradition.
