Students of Guru Harkrishan Public School, Derabassi, organised a rally to spread awareness about cybercrime. The children prepared informative slogans, placards, and banners highlighting the importance of safe and responsible use of the Internet. They marched on streets, raising their voices against online fraud, identity theft, and misuse of social media. The students also interacted with local residents, explaining how to protect personal information, avoid suspicious links, and report cyber bullying or online scams. Principal Kavita Atri appreciated the students for their enthusiasm and said in today’s digital world, awareness about cyber safety is as important as academic learning. She encouraged everyone to use technology wisely and responsibly. Vice-president Amritpal Singh also addressed the students and advised them to be vigilant while using the Internet and to share their knowledge with friends and family. The rally concluded with a pledge by the students to be responsible digital citizens.
