DAV School, Surajpur, presented a beautiful Ramlila to mark Dasehra. Nursery, LKG, and UKG students from the Preparatory Wing, Pinjore, enacted episodes from the Ramayana, from the abduction of Sita to the slaying of Ravana, concluding with the slaying of Ravana. They conveyed to the visiting students that truth always triumphs in the end. Evil and oppression always face defeat. In addition, during a special assembly, students from the Junior Wing delivered a lecture on the significance of Dasehra and the victory of truth over evil. In her message to the students, Principal Anjali Marriya, while giving her blessings, said while “Lord Rama teaches us to strive for public welfare while remaining within our limits, the great festival of Dasehra, symbolising the victory of good over evil and truth over falsehood, gives the message of always following the right path in life”. She extended Dasehra greetings to all students, parents, and teachers.
