Grade I Periwinkle brought to life the inspiring story of Aruni through a musical play that captured the essence of unwavering dedication and respect for one’s guru. The show, centred on the theme Guru Aaradhana, beautifully portrayed how Aruni’s selfless devotion and courage left a lasting impression on his teacher. The young actors skilfully depicted the journey of a devoted disciple sent to a gurukul by his parents, where his loyalty and determination stood out among others. When tasked by the guru, Aruni fearlessly persevered, completing the task despite immense challenges. His sacrifice and obedience earned the admiration of the guru, highlighting the timeless value of respect and resilience. Principal Anjali Sharma expressed her heartfelt appreciation for the students and teachers, applauding their hard work and creativity in bringing such a profound story to life. Her motivational words encouraged everyone to uphold the values showcased in the play, emphasising how such teachings mould young minds into responsible and compassionate individuals.
