The Rotary Club, Mohali, in collaboration with St Soldier International Convent School, Mohali, marked a significant event with the installation of the rotary wheel on the school premises. The ceremony was graced by Ameep Sinha, President of Rotary Club, Mohali, along with a team of eminent Rotarians. Birtijeet Kaur, the outgoing President of the Interact Club, expressed heartfelt gratitude to the Rotarians for their constant support and faith in the school's social service initiatives. She emphasised how the club has inspired students to live by the Rotary motto, "Service before self." Prakriti, a Class IX student, was honoured with the Presidential Sash, symbolising the passing of responsibility to continue the club's good work in the current session. Principal Anjli Sharma highlighted the importance of inculcating the spirit of social service and community responsibility among students. The event also featured an insightful address by Kuldeep Singh Dhody, Secretary of Rotary Club, Mohali, who shared the inspiring history and symbolism of the Rotary Wheel, enriching the students' understanding of the organisation's legacy.
