The school’s students won medals in the Inter-school Zonal Athletic Tournament. Ekamjot Kaur won gold in 100 m and silver medal in 200 m in the under-14 category. Gorvi of Class VIII won gold in shot put in the under-14 category. Sehaj of Class VII won silver medal in long jump in the under-14 category. Prabhnoor of Class VIII won silver medal in shot put in the under-14 category. Khushboo of Class VIII won bronze medal in discus throw in the under-14 category. Kavya of Class VII won silver medal in 400 m in the under-14 category. Simrat Kaur of Class VIII won bronze medal in shot put in the under-17 category. Ananya of Class IX won bronze medal in 400 m in the under-17 category. Under-14 girls won first position in relay race. The team comprised of Ekamjot Kaur, Sehaj Kaur, Kavya Gupta and Pratyaksha.

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.

The Tribune, the largest selling English daily in North India, publishes news and views without any bias or prejudice of any kind. Restraint and moderation, rather than agitational language and partisanship, are the hallmarks of the newspaper. It is an independent newspaper in the real sense of the term.

The Tribune has two sister publications, Punjabi Tribune (in Punjabi) and Dainik Tribune (in Hindi).
